Fennel (Saunf) Lemonade

Ingredients
Lemonade mix
1/4
c
fennel seeds
2
cardamom pods
4
whole black pepper
1/2
tsp
white poppy seeds
1
c
sugar
1
tsp
dried mint leaves
1/2
tsp
black salt
2 glasses of lemonade
4
tbsp
lemonade powder
2
c
water
1
lemon
salt & sugar as per taste
Instructions
In a small pan roast the fennel seeds until aromatic, around 5 minutes. You don't want to get them brown, just dark green.
Turn off the heat, add cardamom pods, black pepper and poppy seeds and let it roast in the hot pan for another 5 minutes.
Once everything is cooled down, grind it to fine powder.
For two glasses of the lemonade, mix 4 tbsp of lemonade powder, juice of one lemon, 2 cups of water and adjust salt and sugar.
Serve with cubes of ice.
